Synopsis

CHROMA
Be who you want. Anywhere. Anytime.
CHROMA” is an innovative proposal by Vortice Dance Company, directed and choreographed by Cláudia Martins and Rafael Carriço. Using the Chroma Key technique, widely used in cinema, the performance recreates reality in an engaging and dynamic way, where everything happening live is recorded and projected in real-time.
The stage is divided into two levels: a green-screen immersive space where the dancers perform live, and an upper level with a screen that transforms into an interactive canvas. The piece takes the audience on a journey through different places and emotions, merging dance and technology.
CHROMA” is the result of a fusion between real and virtual environments, exploring the limits of perception and imagination. It is an exciting visual and immersive experience where characters, time, and space intertwine, creating a new way of “seeing/living life.”
